June 22nd 1945, Elmer Murdle was driving home from work around 1:30 at night, He took the curve on 176th street right after Bluff Road and rolled his car into the ditch and died under the bridge. Local folklore says that if you go to this bridge at 1:30 at night you can see his car come around the curve roll down the ditch and burst into flames.
