Later Than Usual

One night me and a friend were walking home from the lake it was dark and very late we had walked there earlier with two of our other friends but we couldn't find them so we figured they left and we decided to leave there are two ways to walk one way is through a path in the bush the other is by way of many houses in a row we went the way of the houses when we came out the other end it was dark. I felt someone throwing rocks at my feet but didn't say anything I was too scared to freak her out when we reached the end of the road someone threw a rock at my face I screamed and she jumped on me. she said don't run knowing that when I'm scared I run and fast. she held on to me all they way down the road we heard an odd noise so we both turned around and we saw a floating thing that looked like it was lit but like a person on fire we were both scared and we stood there staring I grabbed her and walked away she couldn't stop looking. when we got home we were edgy and jumpy. we no longer go for late night walks

Unsafe Friendship

Let me tell the people who are reading this is true and is still happening. Me and my three other friend love to talk on the phone and e-mail. One day I told my friend troy about a website that answers questions. He asked something and it answered " I will answer when Emily's soul is near. Then he heard clicking everywhere and I heard it through the phone. We were freaked out. weird stuff started happening. Our other friends Matthew and Emmitt's lights kept turning on. When I talked on the phone with Matthew one day. There was loud noises on the phone.It would not stop and I was alone upstairs so I ran downstairs and it stopped. Then troy saw a sign that said Emily's roses so that freaked all of us even more. then Emmitt said he had saw a face in troy's t.v. when he went over. He saw a little girl. It stopped for a while. but on the last week of school before October break Emmitt wasn't the same he was gloomy and sad like the spirit was sucked out of him. Then Troy went to the website again while chatting with me. The rooms we were in got dark and the curtains were moving. Then It started raining hard. Then I never felt safe upstairs alone. My heart would beat fast and I was cold. Matthew then told me he felt the exact same way while in his room.Then today I found roses in my loft I just cleaned up and I realized my sister has been carrying roses but I don't know where she got them and rose is her middle name. Then on a website someone named Emily kept following troy and he still hears clicking in house. Matthew and I still feel unsafe in some areas in our house. And Emmitt, we still haven't heard from him. The strange thing is most of this stuff happened when we were on the phone with each other or e-mailing each other. It is scary knowing something or someone is going to do something to us. Is our friendship unsafe.

Home Alone

It all started the other night, I had just gotten home from school nobody was in just me, so I was ok about it, (well your fair enough I was scared a little.) As I had just settled down with a packet of crisps a drink and the telly on I heard a very strange noise that sounded like my mum very much. she was saying " CARLA FAY COME UP HERE" so I got up knowing it wasn't my imagination !(no way could it be)I ended up going outside, not been able to see my car not even any sign of it anywhere not even around the corner. As I came back in I heard a bang and a groan from upstairs so I went upstairs to have a look and again nobody there! I ended up down trying to forget about it and then it happened again I heard my dad say the same thing. I thought I was being fooled, but was I, was I home alone or not.

My little brother had just started preschool at my elementary school.my friends and I were only nine.We were walking around the track when we looked down and saw these huge paw prints and foot prints,then we noticed our friends were fighting we were sending messages back and forth trying to get them to talk.finally we got them to talk to each mother again we walked back to the track where we had seen the foot and paw prints but strangely they were gone then all of a sudden there was a loud growl we had all ran away screaming.a few months later me and my friend amber were walking for some reason I felt the urge to look at the opposite part of the track when I did I had seen what looked like a little girl then it running then disappeared into thin air.

I just happened to be walking through a cemetery one day when I noticed that some of the headstones and ornaments had been defaced and damaged and I also noticed that some of them had not I wondered to myself why does things like this go on in such places being a complete disbeliever in life after death myself really had nothing to do with the sights that I was witnessing but in my mind I felt as if perhaps there was something uncanny happening I could clearly see with my own eyes that some of the graves had been desecrated I could see that by the fact that some of the graves and markers had been vandalized by hooligans and people with no respect for the dead it does not take one to be a genius to work out what is going on in certain cemeteries around the globe all it takes is a good eye to spot the ones that have been vandalized and it should give most ordinary or extraordinary individuals like myself to see what is happening all over the world nowadays....

The Experience

When I was at the age of 2-4 years old I lived in some apartments and I still live there.Well,that building before was really destroy the apartments windows where broken and the doors everything there.How do I know? My dad before he worked there and he saw it like that.Then it resulted that in that building a lot of gangs use to go there a lot.And they had once did war with another gang and made a big disaster that a lot of people ended up killed.Blood was everywhere people dead all over the place.In that building we have a Laundry room in the Basement of the building which we are all creeped out of. So when I got there and was 2-4 years old my parents told me that I use to see a women with no head in a purple dress and that her head was somewhere like if I was in the hallway the woman's body would be there and her head in the room we slept in. Then My dad told me that people said that all the managers there had left because of a man that would always leave a note pinned to the wall with a knife dripping of blood saying "You're next Manager". So my dad and uncle would creep out because of that. Also they experienced bodies in the laundry room of the basement.My mom had this blanket with red roses and she said that when I saw it on the bed I would say that there is a dead body there. So my mom asked my doctor why would I see such things and he said you must watch movies with blood and that, but my mom said the only thing I watch was boomerang in those days.My mom told me that I also saw someone being shot by another person and there would be nobody outside the building doing such things. My neighbor has experienced also little kids running around from her apartment like from the sofa to the kitchen. she had also seen dwarfs which I don't think they live in the public with us.They only talk to babies to see if they can get water. So all of that was weird because everybody would see such things. That woman that I talked about would follow me everywhere. My whole family said I don't really have such memory. But that's what they said luckily I don't remember that.But common don't you think that experiencing those kind of stuff when you were small creeps you out. SO if this not scary oh well.

Haunting Dream of a Murderer

Before I tell of my experience, I would like to say I do not claim in any way, shape or form to be psychic. Though some people believe we all have psychic abilities-if I do, I am very much unaware of them. Except for once! My Haunted house

One day I was sitting on the couch in the living room and my grandma has a lot of pictures up above out entertainment center. Well, there's this painted one of my aunt Katie and one day, it just started to fall and it just stopped in midair. When I turned and looked at it, it continued to fall.

Then, that very same day, I was back in my grandma's room watching t.v. and it felt like somebody was sitting down beside me and I look and there's nobody there. It also felt like somebody was hitting the bottom of the bed with their head or something.

Our Visitors

My family and I were sleeping on our boat. We were at Nantucket at the time a tropical storm was passing through. The storm was so strong and dangerous! It was almost a hurricane.It was 2 in the morning when I am woken. I heard something so I check to see what it is and I see two misty figures. I rub my eyes in disbelief. But they were there.

One of them was watching my daughter daisy sleep and the other was fiddling around with some papers. The woman was in a beautiful gown with her hair all tied up. The man was in a tuxedo. I thought they were my other children but they weren't . This is 100% true whether you believe me or not.

My Friends Evil Ghost

My parents were at work so I went to my friends house. I was 11 and she was 10, now I'm 19. Well when I went over there she was home alone while that's what I thought until I heard her talking to someone telling them to go away. So when I went in she was staring at the wall talking to no one but I did hear another voice and [this story is real even though it may sound fake] then she fell to the ground as if being pushed then she couldn't get up so I ran over to her to help and the presence was gone. She said that it has been bugging her for five weeks. I asked her what she was talking about she said that it was a ghost. I said what does it look like it is a girl. And it has brown torn up shoes an a pure white back then dress I told her to tell her mom so she did but her mom didn't believe her. So I asked my parents if I could stay the at her house for a couple of nights they both said yes the first night nothing happened but at 3:00 in the morning I heard her talking while actually she was mumbling something so I looked over at her bed,and it looked as if someone was sitting on her holding her down and her mouth so I ran over to her and after a minute or two it gave up I asked her what happened.

She told me that she woke up and the ghost who sad it's name was Sarah was standing over her and said for her family to leave but my friend told her no that got Sarah angry so she sat on her put her hand on her mouth and tried to choke her but I ruined it when I woke up but her mom still didn't believe her until one day her mom woke up and saw someone go into the bathroom her mom thought it was me or my friend until it was about 20 minutes after she went to check what was taking to long.But when she got in there no one was there and then the door slammed shut and she saw Sarah standing right in front of her then Sarah slammed her against the door and started to choke her and stopped two minutes later after that they had a priest bless the house but it didn't stop so they moved to a house next mine that was haunted but with a nice ghost and since then every house that we have lived in has been haunted.

The Girl by the Bed

There I was. Four years old. I was at my aunt and uncles old farm house. I was sleeping with my mom in my cousin Cody's room. Mom was sound asleep. As I laid there awake I saw a girl. She asked me if I wanted to play. My reply I can't I am supposed to be asleep.

The next morning I asked my mom "Mommy where is that little girl? I'm ready to play now!" She asked who I was talking about. Then she talked to my auntie and she said that Cody had seen the same girl but never had contact with her. She had a white dress on and long blonde braids over her shoulders.

You may not believe this story but... it's all true.

What to Believe

I don't know how much I have experienced of spirits or other stuff... let see first I was at home, it was 1990 of April 2nd, doing homework and watch TV the same time. "I hate homework" it was in the evening and I feel something like cold and tap on my shoulder on my right side and I look to my right I don't see nothing but my window and bed then I heard mom called me on my left side and I turn and notice her face was red like she been crying and wanna me to follow her in the living area and notice my uncle cross from me looking at me and I can tell something not right but something is wrong and mom say she have bad news for me and I look at her and sit down and she say that phone call from ms. ford my daddy's landlord and she say daddy died this evening at the same time when that touch on right shoulder that times and jump up crying I guess he must have try to tell me goodbye by touch me on the shoulder cause he knew I am deaf...

1991 - I move in my own trailer next to mom where I got the experience of my daddy's cold tap on my right shoulder anyway in my new trailer my other experience that night was in my bedroom "new" it was dark and I was in my bed trying to sleep on my right side I notice something like figure it was dark but look like a demon to me cause it has hood cloak and I just cover over my head and peek a little it was still there stand by the window I can feel it stare at me I am sure of it... I know it weird.

My mother and family don't believe in ghost or stuff but I do...My boyfriend and I the only one do expect his family believe it...

When I was a teenager, my grandpa showed me an article of a train wreck in the early 1930's. It supposedly happened in a small Virginia town known as Amanote. According to what the article said, all were killed.

My grandpa told me now, every time there's a full moon, the train re-enacts the crash. but before the crash, the train blows it's horn. After the crash, a house burns down killing the people inside. Years Dealing With Sleep Paralysis

I’m single professional lady in my mid-30’s, born and live in South East Asia (so, pardon my English). I have been haunted by the same experience since I was 14 years old.

It started without any warning during my afternoon nap. I studied in boarding school and share the room with few girls. The Ghost Next Door

When I was in the fifth grade a good friend of mine's father died due to a drug overdose. Another friend of mine whom lived next door to him told me that she started hearing and seeing things strange in her house. See, her mother dated our friend's dad, so there was good reason to believe that he would haunt her house. So one night I was lying on the floor trying to sleep, and I heard the door creak open. I didn't think much of it since I was still half asleep, so I just got up and closed the door.

About an hour later I woke up and the door was standing wide open again, and I once again got up and closed it. This went on throughout the night. I woke up about five o'clock the next morning and heard footsteps coming toward the door. I thought it was my friend's mom, so I wasn't really scared. Then I saw the door open, and there was no one there. A few seconds later the stereo came on full blast, and when I tried to turn it down it wouldn't budge. Needless to say, I haven't stepped foot in the house since.

This is a true story, and if you don't believe it then that's your problem.

One night I'm in my house in Philippines I can't sleep so I go out when I'm out I thought it is my babysitter so I say to her "why are you not sleeping?" and the ghost did not reply "I say Why are you not replying?" and the ghost did not reply and I touch and I cant touch her but and It was my dead mother of my grandpas I shouted my parents tell me why are you shouting and "I see grandma"

My parents "Where is she" I said "outside"

I go to my babysitter "you know I've seen my grandma outside" and my babysitter said I taught she's dead "No its only a ghost"

Then my parents go inside the house and they said "There is nothing outside".

It is not such scary but I have more scary things in my life

The severed head

My told me this story just 2 weeks ago,I hope it gives you the creeps.

There once lived a girl called lonely Amy.She was so lonely because she lived in the middle of no where. Her dad could not ask any one out or throw parties.one day the dad got so sick that he cut of her head .he burnt the body and put the head on the mantle place over the fire.one night he was upset so he started to talk the head.he said I love you and I am so sorry.just then lonely Amy's eye went red the dad thought it was the reflection of the fire and he went to bed.in the middle of the night he woke because of this thumping sound on the stairs but he went back to sleep.on stair making the noise was his daughters head coming up the stairs with a knife stuck to her head.when he woke up again the noise was at the end of his bed and with one huge jump lonely Amy went flying through the air.the father stared in horror as the knife went in to his heart.ten days later the police found him dead with the knife in one hand and the head in the other.

two days after my friend told me that I found out lonely Amy was my great aunt scary.

The Girl In The Hall

One night I was playing in the hall we were playing hide and seek in the dark,I was about 6 years old and I turned on the lights because someone was it. I was the only one in the hall and I felt a cold draft and turned around and saw nothing.

I turned back around and I saw a little girl that had on a red and white striped long sleeved shirt and torn pants. So I bought a Ouija bored and she told me that she died in that house then she told me that her name is Tiffany.

So a few years later I herd screaming and I heard 'please help me please!' but the weird thing is that I heard it in my closet!

Scratches

Last year me and my family moved into this new house.

I felt miserable cause I missed all of my old friends,but anyways,It was my first time sleeping in the house and I couldn't fall asleep,so I got up to go get a drink of water and when I got back I noticed there were all these scratches allover my comforter. I know they were NEVER there before, I got totally freaked out.after nothing happened...until the next week. I was sleeping and all of a sudden I had these burning pains all over my arms, terrified I got up and looked at my arms there were these huge red welts. The next day they were gone.I never figured out how this all happened. Right I don't know where I am and I cant remember how I got here...but I cant see myself in the mirror...

Whispers Through the Night

This happened when I was about 7 or 8 years old. So, one night, I was watching TV, and I got scared because I was alone in my room. I went to my mom's room and told her that I was scared, so she came and slept with me. A few minutes passed and my mom had fell asleep while I was still awake. Then I had to go to the bathroom. So, I went and left the door open because I was still a little scared.

When I looked out the door, I heard someone whisper my name. "Eizel.. Eizel.." I saw nothing but darkness. I was confused. I didn't get scared at all. So I said, "Hello? Who's there??". No one answered. I flushed the toilet and hurried to my mom. "Mommy! Mommy! I heard someone! There is something under the table!!" I said. Since this was in the middle of the night, my mom was cranky and got mad at me because I wasn't asleep.

Then, about a few months later, my cousin told me that an old man used to live in our house before us. And he had died in there. I'm guessing it was him that was calling out my name.

So very freaky

this story happened to me when I was around 10 and I am now 15.

I lived in a 1 story, white house with blue shudders... it was during summer break. I fell asleep around 10 well I guess I woke up in the middle of the night to this tapping noise. everytime my heater kicked on it would stop or when I sat up so when I laid down my pencils would tap on the desk and roll onto my chair then onto the floor.... well I got so freaked out I ran to my mothers room and she had to drag me back to mine, rumors were that there was a old guy who died there, I don't really know what his name was I looked up the house and found nothing. when my mom took me back to my room my pencils were on the floor, after I had them all neat. well I showed my mom how I had them, and she like flipped out on me, she said I had a bad dream well when she left it started again so I tried to ignore it and I fell asleep, when I woke up the next morning my pencils were on the floor I asked my mom if she remembered me putting them back on the desk and she said yes well I told her they were on the floor again and her face went pale. Well later we found out from the resent person who lived there, two people before him there was a old guy who past away I think he was trying to tell me something but I don't know....

Sliding Drawer

When I was about 12 years old I was sitting in my bedroom playing video games on the TV (Mike Tyson's Punch Out for Nintendo to be exact). I specifically remember what game it was because I had all the "cheat codes" written on a piece of paper. This piece of paper was unfolded on top of some clothes that were in an opened drawer of my dresser. I kept all my codes and such for games in this bottom drawer because it was in arms reach of where I'd sit and play. See, I'd lean back against my bed and read/enter the codes from the piece of paper that I constantly glanced at.

While I was heavily involved in the game I heard (and felt) a slam. I looked over and the drawer that was opened was now tightly shut. I know it was opened because like I said, I would constantly look at my code sheet while playing and the code sheet was opened up in my opened dresser drawer. Naturally I freaked out, threw my controller down, started running down the hallway, cleared all 15 steps, rounded the kitchen, cleared another 15 steps and ran to my parents who were watching TV 2 floors down.

After freaking them out by running frantic through my house, breathing heavy and scared to death by what they saw and what I explained just happened, we all went upstairs to my room to verify and calm me down.

When we got there, the drawer was opened and my code sheet was on the floor.

Cal found himself lost in the woods in which an evening walk was turning into a night of terror and blood.cal knew it was watching,waiting for him to step in a shadow so it could eat him just like that poor hiker,but no cal thought.I'm going to live.cal had brought a family heirloom with him,a pure silver knife that gleamed in the moonlight.

Caleb heard a howl and a werewolf crashed out of the thicket and into the shadow-creature that was about to kill cal.why is this thing helping me!?then cal came to the horrible realization...they were competing for him.for food.cal took his knife and plunged it into the werewolf's shoulder.the werewolf cried out and the shadow-creature sank its teeth into the werewolf's throat.the shadow-creature began to eat the werewolf.eat your fill cal said in a low voice and stabbed the shadow-creature in the head.

Blood Blood and more Blood

We were at my house and my bestie Lauren came over. Scary right? Not really, but anyway we were about to go to sleep when Lauren said I was bleeding and there was a cut on my face. I raced to the mirror. Nothing was there. She swore she saw blood covering the side of my face.Now I know her and she wouldn't do such a thing. But it was her 1st time sleeping over.

"Cut It Out!" I yelled. "I REALLY saw it!" She replied shaking staring at my foot. "Come on it doesn't smell that bad!" I said. She yelped YOUR FOOT IS BLEEDING. Again, it wasn't. I told her we should get some rest. It was 2 in the morning. Next day I woke up with a cut on both my face and foot. How did she see that? How did I get cut? Why was I gushing blood?

I still ask myself this. She is NEVER coming over again. Scary? Please comment with replies or encounters!

I woke up sweating I had a shower. all day it haunted me and just before I went to bed at night when it was dark I walked over to the spot I saw the skull in my dream.(now the skull is a shadow witch is only there during the night when you stand on it it isn't a shadow because where it is meant to make a shadow it doesn't.)the skull always looks straight face but now it had a smile on its face I stood on it nothing happened so I went to bed...

that night I woke up a wailing sound echoed around my house after all there had been a storm after I fell asleep.

I got up and walked around my house got a drink of water as I was leaning on the cupboard a white fingernail turned around the corner and I peered at it I took a step towards the nail and turned around the corner a ghost with white hair in a white dress was peering at me it looked at me in shock I couldn't blink and then it stepped towards me and stepped into my body. I still think that ghost is in me haunting my bones cause every night at that time I get up and have a drink and around the corner I always see a white nail .

this is a true story it has scared me to death all my life it is a relief to get it out to the world!

Library after dark

It was the last day of school,me and my friends got into some trouble and were asked to stay in the library to clean and re-arrange the books. Soon it was night and for a while the librarian went out. We were all cursing her in our minds and working when the place started getting cold,the lights started going on and off and we heard footsteps but nobody was walking. When we looked where the noise was coming from, we saw a trail of bloody footsteps leading to the window. Suddenly the window opened and a transparent ghost appeared, she looked at us and her face was slashed in different places. My friends were beside me and with a LOUD and PIERCING scream the ghost came towards us and we fainted.

we woke up the other day to find out that we were on our beds,they said they found us all bloody on the library floor,but we weren't hurt. we didn't bother telling anyone else because they wouldn't believe us. Since tan we never went to the library at night, it even freaks us out to see it at day time.

Short but Truly Horrifying

When I was 10, the scariest thing in my life happened to me. I was having a sleepover with my friend Jesse, and we were watching the movie The Ring. in the movie, after you watch a video, you get a phone call that says that you'll die in seven days then the TV goes fuzzy. well, while we were watching they showed us the video.

After it was over, jesses house phone rang, and the TV went fuzzy. all our other friends that watched the movie said that nothing like that ever happened to them. We never did find out who was calling but Jesse got sick and died seven days after we watched that movie I'm not dead because I had to go to the bathroom before the video was over. I'm sending out a warning, don't ever watch that movie!!! this story is dedicated to Jesse.

Fast Ghost

When I was driving with my family for a ride around the town, we decided to go to a park called Jewel Park. It was supposedly haunted. So we drove around a little bit. We actually got lost. So we drove around the park. When we finally found the exit, something showed up. I did a little bit of the hauntings at Jewel Park, many things to sounds, sights, oh and the big 1 extra footprints in the dirt when your alone. Now what I saw was different. I saw an apparition of a of about an 12 year old girl. She was wearing ripped white gown. She had blackish hair, wearing no shoes of any kind. I looked for 1 second and she disappeared into thin air. I have always believed in spirits, but never saw any. She went away so fast it was a terrible experience. I've kept it a secret but I must share it. Please I don't want any investigators in the park. They actually just changed the parking lot with cement. That must of mad them mad!!!!! The park was built over an old rodeo. You can hear old sounds of the rodeo. What I saw was frightening, but what can you do. I'm an 12 year old girl, who knows what she saw. Please don't think I'm lying because of my age, I'm not!

I Think I'm a Vampire

My friends nick-named me Bella from The TWILIGHT saga. If you don't know, Bella turns into a vampire before she dies. I think I'm a vampire. when I cut myself, I always suck it instead of cleaning it under a tap. I also cut my arms on purpose so it can suck on it.

Also, my eyes change colour, from blue to green to brown to hazel to grey. my friends sometimes ask if I'm wearing contact lenses but I've never been near one. My parents don't know but I shocked my boyfriend when he saw my eyes were blue and not hazel like the last time he'd seen me.

My mum and dad have notice a couple of times when I ask them what colour my eyes are and even on my birth certificate, the eye colour box was left blank which is creepy. they still change colour and my friends still call me Bella. once, and this is creepy, but my irises once went BLOOD RED for a week.

One day I was sitting at home in a little apartment when I was 4 years old with my mom. We walked into the kitchen, looking in the drawer for a phone book we found a picture in the new phone book that we just got. It was of a family that lived there before us. That night we went to bed and my mom thought that there was something going on so I slept with her in her room. We saw the door opening and shutting and there was no windows or fans on in the house. That night my mom couldn't sleep. The next day my mom called my gram and told her what had happened, she didn't believe her so that night me, my mom, and my gram slept in my moms room and saw the door open and shut. After she saw that she believed her. Another day we went into the kitchen and I told my mom that I had a dead friend that lived close by and she said where does she live and I went to my room and pointed down from my bedroom window and I said she lives down there where all the windows and stuff are closed and dark. She believed me. She went and got our minister at the time to come over to our house and pray in the house.

My Uncle talking to me?

Well,one night I was in my room on the laptop.It was the Summer of 09.Everyone else in the house was asleep but me,it was probably 3 in the morning when I heard a voice say Daniel.It wasn't my computer because the sound was turned all the way off.So,I decided to look in the living room where my little sister had fallen asleep on the couch watching T.V.When I looked out,my sister was still sleeping,the T.V. was turned off because my grandmother turned it off.So then I looked in my grandma and pap's room to see if they called my name,but,sure enough,they were asleep.I couldn't shake the voice out of my head.

I kept thinking about it,trying to make out who it sounded like.I then had the audacity to think it was my Uncle Donnie's ghost,I was a huge believer in ghosts because of reading ghost stories on many sites.I was really scared at that point.But I thought it was in my head.Then I heard it again,I thought,ok this is really freaking me out!I got so scared I took my laptop and hid under the blankets.I then thought reasons I could be the only one hearing this the whole time.Well,I was in the exact bed he slept on before he died.Then I finally turned off my computer watched some movies then turned everything off and went to sleep.

My Daddy's House

Poplar Montana. My family moved into a new house but my dad decided to stay at the old house. a couple months later I decided to spend the night. it was around 1:00 a.m. when we decided to call it a night. he was already asleep in his room while I was on the air mattress in the living room. *turning over towards the wall*, I heard foot steps stomping down the kitchen hallway! *THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP* I turned over to see not my father, but a floating black figure with pure red eyes staring me in the face less than a foot away from me. *phone rings* the freaky black figure glanced at the phone and disappeared. this happened in September in 2006. I haven't spent the night since October 2007!

This story is true so if you see a floating black figure with red eyes, you better hope for a phone call!

Scary Baby-sitting Tales

I was about eleven when I started babysitting for a family friend. Before I began my dad would joke around with me about the house being haunted. I thought he was joking until one day...... It was a Sunday afternoon and the one-year-old bay had just woken up from his nap. As we were both relaxing he turned his head extremely fast and said. "I can hear you!" I was so scared but I couldn't do anything about it.

Then one day I was over there and I had just laid him down for a nap. As I was walking down the hall I felt so cold. I still kept going as my heart was pacing. All of the sudden something ran passed me. I couldn't see it because it was just a quick glimpse.

One night I had to baby-sit because the parents went out for a date night so I was stuck in the empty house with a big hairy dog and a little baby. He was sleeping and I was watching T.V. and over the babymonitor I could hear one of his baby toys turn on. I heard the toy say,"Peekaboo I see you!" I got chills all in my body. "You have to put you hands over the toy's eyes in order for it to make noise. Then I heard crying and I knew it wasn't the baby. Then I quickly called my parent's and had my mom come over and baby-sit with me.

I never told the family about it. I guess I should have because to this day I'm still babysitting for the same family and scary things are still continuing to happen.

As I was writing this story I had goosebumps. Hope you have the same feeling. But don't get too scared.

Being Possessed By Evil Spirits

Once, my friend told me about her friend being possessed. I listened very carefully to every word she said. It was almost going to 7 pm. So she told me a story that I would never forget: My friend is possessed by evil spirits when camping.Every body saw it but she was sleeping soundly. Then, suddenly, she begun to rock back and forth, back and forth. She even said some luggage that we didn't know. Her eyeballs went up and we can't see her eyeballs.A Christen girl was sleeping soundly when she suddenly followed the girl who had done it earlier. It really was a scary story. After she told me her story, I shivered from head to toe!! I would always keep my eyes open.

The Little Boy Down the Lane

When my best friends mum was in her 20's her and her friends had heard about a ghost tale where people had spotted a ghost of a little boy down this road so they decided to check it out. They took there dog and there was about 5 of them but the ground was covered in snow, so they parked up their car and got out to see if they could find this ghost. About half an hour later they hadn't of spotted this little boy ghost and the dog was in the car so they decided to let the dog out for a toilet time, but dogs are very intelligent and if they sense a ghost or spirit they run away, so when they let the dog out it ran away and then they wondered what was happening so they decided to get back in the car to try and find the dog but when they turned around someone had pushed all of the snow up against the wheels of the car and this hadn't of been pushed up naturally. They waited for a while until the dog came back and eventually he did so they got in the car but still now they don't know why that had happened.

When this tale was told to me I got really freaked out so I think you will.

Well one time me and my family were out at a graveyard trying to have a good,scary time. we walked around the graveyard a couple of times when we heard a scream far , away well we stopped to try to find out what it was but we just shook it of and moved on,well we heard it again and this time we didn't stop to think we just took of. while we were running I happened to look back and there was a floating black thing with a demonic red face ganging up on us it freaked me out so I beat everyone to the car.so we all got in the car and drove off and we got half way down the road and that black thing with the red face was floating in the middle of the road and we drove right through it.THAT IS THE THING LURKING IN THE SHADOWS.

Many Types of Hauntings

I want you to know,I'm not an expert and I can only go by what I've seen and have learned. There are many types of hauntings some are family related. There are stories through out history, most of the ones I've found like yours happened in Europe. Sometimes a family member comes back in spirit form for lost things, to give messages, or as bad omens. I hope that it isn't the last one.

If you are still having an problem (other than noises), try your spiritual leader(priest,minister,or rabbi), they may not believe you at first but if he is as active as you say, they will be convinced real quick. I've had my fair share of "unhappy" spirits and some of the lost ones. If he is a real problem or physical threat to you and your family, it may be time to get tough, try through your spiritual leader and get your home blessed and go from there.

I'm not a big fan of exorcising ghosts, that is a "final solution" type of method and may be counter productive to the situation. I hope that this is a short lived thing and can be resolved quickly for you, this kind can be very stressful, and at times annoying.

The Dead Ones

Hi, this is a true story, so don't think we're making this up. This happened about 5 months ago. My friend and I were sitting on a deserted lawn, (which was next door. Nobody had lived in it for a month). It was a big lawn, with dead grass and a huge dead tree that had it's bark falling off. We set a maroon towel (which we had just found on the lawn) by the dead tree. I brought out my ipod, and we were listening to it for about 3 minutes, when we heard a crackling noise (which was the kind of noise you hear when somebody steps on a stick.) we got kind of scared , since we were only 10. We ran into my house, and in my room . Then we came out in about 5 minutes. The house was so old and empty, nobody would wanna even touch the dead grass, when we walked up again, the towel was gone! By the way the tree was by the back of the house, so nobody could see it. We were kinda frightened, but we searched for it anyway. "Were could it have gone, the grass is all brown, and the towels dark red. I don't get how we don't see it." I said to my friend. We had already checked in the spot that we put it 3 times. Then knowing we were not gonna find it, we checked in the spot one more time, then... "OH MY GOSH!" We yelled. There it was in the area we checked 3 times. Then we heard something, like a whisper. We turned around and saw a black figure right by the door! We moved into our house after this house was built, so we didn't know the history of it. We didn't know if it was haunted, or just a trick. But we were pretty sure it was real cause my eyes have never played tricks on me. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, the people only lived in the house for a month. The reason they left, was because the saw and heard rats scratching on the wall, thousands of them. Since nobody had lived there, probably 2 months later, they torn down the house. I was kinda relieved, kinda depressed. Relieved because I knew there wouldn't be any more hauntings. Depressed because I knew we wouldn't be able to explore it. Today, the house isn't built all the way but it's all wood. That's the story of, The Dead Ones.

My Sister

My oldest sister died in 1990. January 10th. We really did not know each other all that well. She was 6 years older but a lot of circumstances had kept us apart. There was not a lot of communication between us for many years. When I was about 35 we finally connected.......It was so wonderful, then she died. It was only one or two years that we had any kind of meaningful conversation before she passes on.

In 1995 I am walking for exercise and I hear a song...(please excuse.....Shady? Smooth Operator) And I SWEAR.........She grabbed my hand and swung it in time to music. My whole body was like on a live electric socket. I have had visitations my whole life..But this my friends was very intense. And I have seen many ..how do I say this.. many paranormal happenings. I have had others who have died contact me...not dreams...not wishful thinking. I am 57 and can be a serious skeptic. I just don't accept everything that happens. But, I know this..when it happens....I HAVE NO DOUBTS. LIFE IS ETERNAL.

My Mothers Miscarriage

I was about four at the time when my mum had a miscarriage. She was five weeks pregnant. She told me when I was 11. Of course I was crying because I would do anything for a sibling.
Anyway, my mum and dad were out and I was watching some home movies. To my surprise, I could see a small figure just float across the background. I didn't take any notice of it at first.

That night I fell asleep on the couch with my white terrier on me. I woke up to feel something climbing me. I thought it was rebel (my dog) but to my surprise I found rebel sleeping on the chair next to me.

I looked at the end only to find nothing. For the rest of the night I felt uncomfortable. Is it the baby mum didn't have? I need some help!

Ghost vibes

so my mom and I just moved into this house 4 months ago and I felt this heaviness when I walked in the house at night. well 2 months after we moved in I started seeing this man. I would sit on the couch in the living room and watch TV and in the corner of my eye I see this man in a tux with one of those jacket that have the tails just standing there at the beginning of the hall staring at me. he is nice though I can feel it. but the 3rd month rolls around and I start feeling un easy every time I walk by the laundry room then it was every were in the house. and the whole house was nice and warm but my bedroom was always freezing like a meat locker.

just the other night I felt uneasy when I was doing a webcam chat with my boyfriend and I typed to him that the ghost was in the room with me them 10 minutes later my chair moved just a little bit. I never say that I can see it of feel it out loud because I don't want it to hear me. but is it normal for me to see the nice one and not the one that makes me uneasy? is it normal for me to feel when a ghost is around? do you think that either one will start messing with me?
