Sarah was walking at night, its what she did when she was sad or depressed. No one was out, and no one was usually out at this time of night, only dunks who were at bars. Sarah kept walking, she had just been dumped by her boyfriend for the girl at school she hated the most, she sighs and crosses the street and walks past a grave yard and turned the corner.
She walked for about an hour before things started to get weird, she could hear footsteps behind her, but every time she turned around, there was no sound and no one there. She shook her head and kept walking thinking it was all in her head, but what Sarah didn't know, it wasn't. A cold wind blew almost knocking Sarah over, but she caught her balance and ran home. When she got home, she did the normal and ate dinner, took a shower, changed into her pajamas, and laid in bed and started to read. She lived alone, she was 18 and this was her last year of high school, her parents trusted her to be alone since her aunt lived a few blocks down and could check on her anytime of the day, any day.
The house was so quiet and Sarah sat there reading her book, when she heard the footsteps again. She quietly put her book down and went to her closet and grabbed her baseball bat she had hidden in there. She started to walk downstairs slowly looking around her in case someone was in the house, she got to the bottom of the stairs and out of no where, from above her, she could hear a creepy, dead, gloomy voice that sounded like it was coming from far away, the voice said "Sarah..." then it was gone. Sarah turned quickly and looked up, and said holding her bat like she was ready to take someone head off.
"Who's there?" There was no answer, she kept walking around the house as the voice or person had seemed to go away, she walked back upstairs and into her room, and closed her door and locked it. She went to her window and shut up and locked it and pulled down her blinds. She kept her bat near the bed and her cell phone with 911 on speed dial, she laid there thinking this was still all in her head, but in case it wasn't, she was ready for anything. She closed her eyes, and soon enough, drifted asleep.
While Sarah was sleeping,f ootsteps became visible in the hall way, leading to her room, then they disappeared, and soon enough they were in her room. The voice that Sarah could hear before said her name once again, in the deep gloomy voice it had done once before. "Sarah..."
Sarah was fast asleep so she couldn't hear anything, the body became visible as it came near her bedside,it reached out to touch her but she woke up and it disappeared. Sarah got up and got dressed, when she did,she saw footsteps walking downstairs, she got her jacket and started to fallow them slowly, she walked out the door and headed were the footsteps were, they lead her to the graveyard where she was once before when she was walking, then they were gone.
Sarah looked around for them but there was no sigh of them, than the voice was near her ear and said "looking for something?"
Sarah turned quickly and right there in front of her was the body of a dead man,who looked like he had got in some kind of horrible wreck, his face had scars and blood all over it,his body looked like it had been in the ground or buried alive, she looked past him and a grave was dug up,she looked back at him and whispered "Oh No..."
Sarah backed away slowly and the dead corpse reached towards her,she ran but it was no used,he appeared right in front of her, he picked her up by the neck and threw her into a wall,Sarah got up weak, her head was bleeding, she tried to get away, but it seemed like she had no chance,he came towards her and stabbed her in the chest with a bloody knife, Sarah was weak, she tried to get up,but she couldn't,every time she tried, she kept falling down, the corpse picked her up by the knife and threw her into the hole,he grinned and started to put dirt over her, Sarah tried to scream but hardly any sound came out, soon enough,he was done,he laughed and it seemed like his laugh could go all around the world but only could be heard by one person, and that was Sarah but soon enough, her voice was gone and he disappeared.
no one knew what happened to Sarah, they tried for years to find her,but soon enough, they gave hope up,and dealt with the fact that she was gone, everyone in a while when people walk by the grave yard, you can hear her scream, than sometimes while your walking, you can hear footsteps, and this story starts all over again.
