Dead Silence

I was living with my grand mother in South Carolina, Landrum and we moved in and I just got cutting grass and I went in and all I can fell was cold. Then that night when my cousin came over we was eating chicken and my grandma when she died she always like light on so when my cousin went though the hallway to go to the kitchen the light turn on and me and my grandmother look at each other and we both gasp.So we go and look and ask the owner if there was any ghost and he said it was a deadhouse that means they got blood from there skins and borrow them in ground under any house and it was ours and he said there is a door inside the house that you see all the time and that was the room where we did it and that is mostly where the ghost are and they always come out in the middle of the day or the night well we fell sorry for him so we stayed at the house and that night my cousin went home and my dad come and spent to night to watch the race so we did and the first person to fall asleep was my grandma ,me ,then my dad. I woke up in dead silence and saw something right in my face I was half asleep so I though I was dreaming and my eyes caught the image and I got scared. The next day we looked if there was dead people under the house and WE DID. We found a tombstone that said t.p.t tyler peter thompson!!! While we your doing that my grandmother was taking a nap and all we heard was screaming and I tried to rush in and something pulled me back and the door was not open and it finally open and whatever was holding me let me go and my grandma said some one was choking her and it scared me so badly so we left and we haven't heard from it again !

The Scariest Night of Our Lives

Ok so it was Easter weekend 21 March 2006, and in south Africa where I live, that's the time when families goes on vacations. But my three friends and I decided to go to a little cottage we found on the net in a town called Simons town which was about an hour drive outside our town, cape town. We got there, the house was beautiful, although it had an odd quietness to it... anyway we got settled in.

It came to just after 12 am when we were just about to go to bed when all of a sudden we heard a child crying. We all stopped, and asked each other, "did you hear that?" so the 2 guys, rayaan and rafiek, went outside... and there was nothing... so we went upstairs and got into bed... a big BANG! awakened me, rafiek and rayaan but my other friend, quanita, wasn't in bed. So we rushed down stairs and there she was sitting on her knees in front of the door with her back facing us... rayaan approached her touching her shoulder, she immediately turned around spitting at him, saying, "leave me alone or I will tell this time" we were all shocked to see blood all over her night gown. She looked at us with this wide anger in her eyes and just kept looking at the door. She then got up opened the door and started walking towards the pool, we knew we had to get her before she went in because it was freezing cold... then as rayaan got hold of her hand she looked at us and screamed "HELP ME!" We all pulled on her hand but something was pulling her into the pool... we were screaming for help and a strong wind blew... quanita fall on the floor and there was that dead silence again... we took her inside laid her down an covered her with blankets cause she was shivering, she woke up eventually and didn't know what happened.

after asking around the town, we found out that a young girl had been kept there by her father who raped her continuously, and one night she tried to escape but her father caught her and drowned her... and left her body there in the pool.

Mysterious Thing About a Girl

I know a girl how had a mysterious thing about her. 
She new ever since the age of 10.

She always felt a little scared but at the same time excited. She would always tell me what had happened each and everyday.

When she had told me about her magic power, I didn't believe her so I told her to prove it so she got a knife and stabbed her self, she feel to the floor; I was shocked at what she had done so I closed my eyes for a minute. I opened my eyes again saw her standing up. I didn't understand what was happening, I just wanted to go.

She stopped me and said "don't be afraid because I need you more than anything because I am also very scared". I asked her what was going on; she said that I cannot die. I told her how do you no that, she told me that she was in a car crash and everyone else died.

Red Star UFO

Well my mom always talks to us about when she was younger. She told us that when she was younger she went to a funeral and she was the first one to come home with two of her sisters and they lived in Mexico. Well they were walking home and they saw a red object flying low in the sky. She said it looked like a star with a lot of spikes but the weird thing is that when that red object was passing by she said they couldn't hear anything, it was like silent and I thought it was maybe a UFO and she said it was flying towards (the pressa) which is where the water is at. It was something weird because it was a red object and no one could hear anything and it passed by very slow and as it passed by it was leaving like red color in the sky.

Foot Steps

Bear with me I'm not a good story teller but I'll give it a try. My Mom and I rented a place on a busy road in my town thirty five years ago. Our unit was on the small side and the one we wanted next to us was bigger but occupied by two old men. One of the old boys passed on and the other could not afford the place by himself so he moved out and we moved in. Nothing unusual about the place but there was one room I would not go into at any time night or day. Never had a reason to fear that room I just did.

One night as I was getting into bed I heard three footsteps on the floor between our bathroom and my bedroom door. At this point I was wide awake and I said "who is there?" then three more steps from the bedroom door to the foot of my bed. That was it I bounded out of bed and hit the light switch, I saw nothing and I never heard any thing more that night. I never told my Mom that story or anybody else for that matter.

About ten years after we moved out I told my Mom what happened in that house so she told me hers. Mom was sleeping when she heard voices in the kitchen two male voices. She thought it odd that I would be sitting in the dark talking to friend so she got up and went into the kitchen and turned on the light, the voices stopped. Neither one of us had an experience like that again in that house I do believe it was a ghost and thankfully one that moved on.

Ghostly Sightings in Hotel Pool

Hello, My name is Anthony Sutherland and I am 18 years old. I was at Super 8 Hotel Pool with my friend Tanner. I was coming down the waterslide when all of a sudden Tanner screams "Anthony watch out! There's someone under the water!" But when I came out the slide I went to see who the person was But no one was there! Tanner said to me that he saw a foot at the bottom of the pool that looked like a 3 year olds foot. Then we saw it moving around the pool, then out of the pool, then we saw a little splash in the hot-tub. But! That's not all that happened. I was going down the slide super fast, then I saw this man that looked like he was in his 30's and he smiling at me. I tried to slow but, when I got to him he vanished.

I told Tanner all about what I saw in the slide. He said he didn't believe me, so I told him to go check it out for himself. So he did. When he came out of the slide there was a red mark on his face. It sorta looked like he was crying! "Tanner, what's wrong?" I said to him. "Th-th-there really is something in there! It scratched my face and it hurts!" Tanner said.

All of a sudden, more water started coming out of the pool then usual. The pool was overflowing! We were so scared we ran the heck out of there!

I hope you enjoy my story. It was a weird adventure.

Remembering The Day When We Moved!

I was about three years old when my mother moved to a new apartment. My mother never believed me when I said I saw a ghost or if I heard something. So I was sitting in my room at about 3:00 p.m. My mom was setting up the kitchen. I was putting up my curtains. When all of a sudden I heard footsteps. I dropped the curtains and ran to my mom. She asked me what happened. I told her I heard footsteps. She said stop playing around. I went back up to my room to finish what I started. This time I worked fast. I want to get out of there before anything dangerous happened. When I finished I ran down stairs to my mom. I was scared.

I went outside to play catch with my neighbor. My neighbor,Kennya, was about four. She said she saw something in my window. I asked her was she for real. She said she knows what happened in that apartment. I asked her what happened. She said three children died in there. I said how did she know. She said that she saw them die. I asked her was she sure it wasn't a dream. She said no because there was a fire. I didn't know there was a fire I told her. She said ok whatever.

My mom asked her was she gonna stay tonight. Kennya said she had to ask her mom and dad. She lived next to us when I turned two. She moved the next month. She said she was gonna stay tonight. I was surprised she was. Kennya and I ran to the kitchen. Day turned to night real quick. We ate dinner and ran to my room. After two hours we were sleep. I woke up from a terrible dream. I woke up screaming. Then I saw a little girl pass the door. I was scared and I couldn't believe my eyes.

I got up and walked the way the little girl was going. The ground felt as if it were gonna collapse. I ran back to my room. Then I heard little kids running in the hall. Now I was sure I wasn't illuminating. The next morning I told my friend what I saw, heard, and felt. She told me I was just seeing things. I said I saw it myself. Then a week turned into a month.

I was scared now. One night I was scratched by something. I told my mom she still didn't believe me. Then one night my mom was scratched. This time she believed me. She had to. My mom moved to my grandmas house. Nothing happened ever again. We moved to a house and we pass up the apartment. We see the kids but pay no attention to them.

Playing Ghost

This happened to when I was 8 years old and I am now 9 years old.

ok,to start,me, Joanna(babysitter),along with my sister (Aubrey), and brothers (Kevin and Kent). That night we we're playing in our room about ghosts and Emily was our ghost,after all,we do really believed in ghosts.

it's been a while after we have started playing when suddenly the electric fan in the room we we're playing to suddenly turned off.I noticed it right away and it really freaked me out.Emily saw my expression so she asked me right away if something was wrong. I could not speak so I just pointed to the electric fan.all of us were scared that time but was more scared when suddenly the electric fan turned on by itself.then it turned off again by itself. we were all really freaked out that time.my two brothers started crying and my heart was really beating fast.

when my sister (sandy) came to the room, I told her right away on what happened and she did not believed us at first but became convinced after we told her the whole story.anyways,my sister is really a ghost believer herself because she too have some ghost experiences.

Sandy then told me that the ghost was only trying to play along with us. what my sister said had not really comforted me. a year after, my sister (Sandy) told me that she had seen a ghost. here is her story:

she woke up in the middle of the night because something was telling her to wake up.then she saw a man in black suit standing in the door of the same room right beside the electric fan.she did not saw the face of the man but she was really sure that what she saw was a man.my sister is also sure that it's not my brother (James)nor our father because It was taller than my dad and bigger than my brother.

as of writing this I still don't know if the man was the one who was trying to play with us.

One day I was laying down on my bed . With my mother in law.. Old Homemade Rag Doll and Nightmares

When I was four years old, one of my great aunts gave me an old homemade rag doll for my birthday. It had been hers when she was a little girl, made especially for her by her grandmother who, of course, was long dead. I loved the doll, for the only one I had was an old baby doll I’d had since the age of one. Why my great aunt had chosen to give me the doll was a puzzle, for she’d never really paid me any attention. In fact, as children often can, I sensed that she disliked me distinctly. Anyway, I felt very special to have been the recipient of such a treasured gift. I slept with the doll every night and, during the day, it had center stage on my bed.

People that are Possessed are Real

My friend Kylee was in her home and she was so in to ghosts and demons and paranormal things so on March 14, 2010 she looked on Google and searched ghosts but what showed up was a little screen that said people can be possessed so she clicked it and it said stuff like the Emily Rose story so she got out of it.

She turned off her computer but 5 minutes later it turned on again and she once again went on it but her little sister came and was snooping. Then she went on Google and typed ghost stories but what popped out was that same thing that said people can be possessed so she clicked and her sister came her eyes were darker and she turned her head like she was looking at the wall but nothing was there she turned to Kylee and said "Did you look up my possessing?" but that was NOT her voice! Kylee pushed her away and was freaking out she looked on the screen and it said "Now do you believe me?"

Grey Gargoyle Like Demon

I’m not sure its a story exactly but I’ve know for some time that there’s something following me/attached to me, I think I’ve always been aware its there but until a few years ago I wasn’t sure what. Its almost like a memory half remembered, like a dream never dreamt.

My Aunts Ghost

My aunt and I were always very close. So when she called one summer to say that she was coming down for a month I was so happy, but my aunt never made it (in human form that is) because she died in a car crash. The police said she died instantly so I was glad she didn't go through any pain.Around the time that she died I got this eerie feeling.

About 10 minutes later I heard a knock on my bedroom door I was surprised though because nobody was home but me. when I opened the door it was my aunt I smiled and tried to hug her but I just went through her. I stood there my mouth wide open she said I love you but her lips did not move.I will never forget that day my aunt came to say her final goodbyes.

The Ghost Stairs

I was coming home from doing the groceries after my first week in an old three story building that I just bought to be closer to my Grandmother Mae because she has a rare disease called Tadengelitus. I was coming home one day and I was going up the stairs when I felt a very strong presence of people watching me like I was a freshly baked ham.

The next day I came out of my bathroom and felt a male presence just standing there staring at my naked body so I quickly put on a towel. I continued having these feelings until I just couldn't take it anymore. I went online and checked out the history of the house I had just moved into and was amazed at what I saw. It turns out the three story house was used for a male prison that burned everyone inside of it in the 1730's during a jail fight fire.

Short Ghost Story

One night I was in my bed room watching T.V then all the sudden my T.V turns off. I was kinda scared cause past years I've been hearing stuff that made my bones shiver.So I got up from my bed turned my T.V on again then a face in my mirror appeared a mad face.I looked away trying to ignore the face.But I couldn't so I got up put a blanket over the mirror and went to sleep.The next morning that blanket was folded up and at my feet.Today I still see that same face.I wonder is it my dead relative?

This did really happen to me about a week ago if you see that face in you mirror don't panic IT WILL GET YOU!

I lived in a Big old House that was built in the 1880s and I swear I always saw a guy upstairs in this extra room we hardly went in cause it had a hole in the ceiling that led to the scary old attic.

well one day I was sitting at my computer desk and I felt a chilling feeling a feeling like I was being watched by someone but I was the only one home.

I thought heard someone coming down our stairs and it scared me so I slowly got up from the computer desk and started walking by the stairs when something caught my eye I saw a man sitting on the stairs staring off in to no where he was like dressed in the old fashion clothes I was so scared I ran out side and waited for my parents to come home.

Mysterious Haunted House

It was a dark and stormy night. The wind was blowing hard. I was very cold and scared. I saw a house that I have never seen before. I don't know how it got there.

The next day I went for a walk. I looked to see if the house was still there.It was not.I wonder why. That night I went for a walk again.The house was back! I went back home . The next morning I went for a walk again.The house was not there.I kept going ever morning and night to see if the house was still there. All I know is that the house came at night and vanished in the morning. Right when I knew that, I knew it was haunted. One day I wanted to go in the house. And I did.

2 people died at my grandma's house, my grandpa and my great aunt.I was over at her house one night and everybody was asleep.then I heard the door open and then close.that really creeped me out.then I said to myself that it was probably something else.then I heard a creaking noise in the hallway. by then I knew it was a ghost.that was really creepy.that is a very true story!

also my sister said that if you don't go to sleep a dead Cherokee Indian will come to your window. She also said there is one buried in the wall but I do not believe that story...but then again it could be true!

the last story of my grandma's house is she has dead family buried in her back yard! and that would really creepy.they may be back and haunting too! that is why I think her house is haunted.her house could really be haunted or it is just the wind.but all of this is true and I would not lie about this.but you read this so you can decide yourself.but this is true.

Was It Really A Ghost?

One day I was cleaning my room, when I started to vacuum, the lights just went out, but the vacuum was still going, I knew it wasn't storming.So I thought Georgia Power done turned my lights off, but then I thought if my power done went out so should the vacuum.So I turned around and the lights just came on so I looked around to see if my sisters was just playing but they was outside.Then I saw something that just pass right by me in full speed. I was so scared I didn't know what to do but run. So I ran to the bathroom and locked the door. When I sat on the toilet to relax and think what in the world could that be something just came and brushed my shoulders.I ran full speed out of the bathroom, BUT SOMETHING WAS STILL FOLLOWING ME. Called the police they told me it was just probly a prank, so I hung up in they face and just ran outside with my sisters. Came back in the house scared like you know what. Went up stairs than SOMEBODY JUST APPEARED OUT OF NO WERE,they started to talk to me ,told me my name,where I'm from, And who my friend # is.I never told anybody this story, but I'm still suspicious about this. I know I'm not crazy, Do you think?

Someone was sitting on my bed

I was sleeping at my aunt's house one night, and all of sudden someone whispered my name in my ear and I woke up. I don't think it was my imagination.I sat up in my bed and said "what"? Assuming my aunt had something important to say for waking me up at 2:30 in the morning. There was no answer though. All of sudden there was an indent at the corner of my bed, but my aunt was no where in sight.

I screamed and the indent disappeared. I haven't been in that room in a long time.

MSN Disaster

One night, I was home alone because my big brother was at a concert. My mom went out for the night with her boyfriend. My little dog, Sadie started whimpering and scratching my leg,I got annoyed so I decided to put her out for a pee break. After about 10 minutes, I brought her in and shut the door. I specifically remembered locking the door behind me. I went back to my computer and was on MSN messenger. Nobody was online so I was talking to some of those robot people. This one sent me a voice clip, which I thought was very strange. In a deep voice, it said "Lock your doors, and run."

I was sort of freaked out because I specifically remembered locking the door behind me. But I went to check anyways. When I got to the door, not only was it unlocked, the chain was unhooked. I freaked out and locked it and went back to my room. I was holding my bright pink scissors because I was so scared. The robot sent me another and when it played it said "Do not leave your house or open your door to anyone. If you do, you will be killed.". I was so scared so I grabbed a pan from the kitchen.

When my brother came to the door, I was so scared I didn't open it. I didn't even go over to see if it was him! He kept ringing and ringing. He took his house key and opened the door. Our door is sort of broken so it creaks when it opens. I freaked out and ran out with the scissors and pan. When I saw it was my brother I was relieved. I immediately deleted all the robots I had on MSN and I am still scared of it.

One Day when I was walking in the park.I saw a girl about my age standing beside a tree.I walked over to say hi and she suddenly vanished into thin air .Right before my eyes.

I was so freaked out.That I ran all the way home and immediately told my family.My girlfriend was really scared too.So the next time I went to the park I took her with me.But this time it was a boy that we saw.It seemed to be reaching out to her.

We found out eventually that the girl was a girl from our school who had a crush on me .But never really got noticed at all.The boy was a boy at our school,who had a crush on my girlfriend.Apparently they had died a couple of months ago in a car crash.

The Lady in the Balcony

My Best Friend always tell me ghost stories and of course I know that she loves Ghost stories,hauntings and many ghost stuffs. One day my parents told me we will stay at Palawan for about 5 days my Grand pa is quite sick. I told them I would tell my best friend to come with us my parents agreed.

We left the house 3:30 a.m Sharp. Then while we are inside the car my mom told us that we will stay in my Grand pa's old house. when we reached Palawan I saw the house it looks like a haunted one my room is beside the basement shortcut my Friends room is beside the old balcony in my Grand ma's room. One night She screamed very,very loud I think my ear drum exploded, then I approached her room We saw A lady wearing a white blouse and blue skirt, it was like my Granny's favorite out fit then it disappeared.

My family had a short talk with my Best friend she said she saw the white blouse inside my Granny's closet she tried it then that's the time she saw a ghost. MAYBE MY GRANNY GET MAD WHEN SHE SAW SOMEONE WEARING HER OUTFIT AND MAYBE SHE WAS THE LADY IN THE BALCONY.

Bremen Troll Bridge

It started out when all my friends and I were talking about ghost stories Then one of my friends brought up this place in Indiana called Bremen cemetery where troll bridge is at he said that he had a troll there chasing him but then we didn't believe him there was like seven of us in two cars 3 girls 4 dudes then we all decide to go check it out to see if it was true and the first place we when to was the cemetery by it and we went down there to go mess with the tombstone and took some pictures we have gotten lots of orbs and stuff then one of my friends flick a nickel at one of the tombstone we heard a baby cry we thought that was one of the people that came with us was messing around but then not everyone that was with us could hear it I was not scared but the people that did hear it all went back into the car and as I looked back behind me at the bridge I seen this 8 or 9 foot person standing on the bridge it was like 2 or 3 in the morning so I told everyone, the girls stayed in the car the boys went to go check it out and as one of my friends were taking pictures he said he supposedly seen the troll he screamed I screamed and the other dudes screamed as well and ran and one of my friends that was behind had gotten push and he quickly got up and I helped him and when I looked behind him I didn't see anyone when he got into the car he started to cry my ribs are broking so after all that happen we never have gone back. but today seems like a good day to find that troll.

My Haunted House

My parents were looking for a house to rent. And we found this house that looked so old. So we were looking around the house and my mom said how beautiful the master bedroom.of course the bedroom as in matter of fact the whole house was beautiful but until we found out one dark secret. my neighbors told us that a man was murdered in the master bedroom where my parents sleep. I slept in a room right next to them. I opened my mom's closet and it had blood shattered all over places and I got so scared. I once came home from school just watching TV my mom keeps her room locked.I heard so many noises that I almost wanted to wet my pants. I told my parents at dinner they said I'll just have to get use to it .All those days I've stayed at home I was so scared.I've was reading a book and for some reason I heard my mom arguing with the homeowner. She ended saying that we were moving but still leaving with much fear of that man being killed to death and being wrapped with plastic bags with his wife out in the streets not knowing anything.

this was a true story that happened to an innocent man that my life was haunted by him.
